The buzz Our iconic market 9.00 am – 1.00 pm

Bursts of laughter, colourful stalls stretching as far as the eye can see, the warm accent of the South-West… The Montalivet market is a true summer institution and the beating heart of our mornings, with over 200 stallholders.

TO-DO LIST:

Stroll amongst the stalls in search of local handmade crafts or vintage treasures.
Treat yourself to the season’s unmissable treat: a tasting of Médoc oysters straight from the producers.
Stock up on local produce for your picnics throughout the week.

Let’s get moving with Monta Sports 2.30 pm – 6.00 pm

No time to get bored! Our summer programme is all about activity, fun and sharing. The Monta Sports programme is the unmissable event for young and old alike – 100% free and with no registration required – where you can get active on the sand or in the cool shade of the pine trees.

TO-DO LIST:

Defy gravity on the warm sand by joining the daily, free beach volleyball, beach football or sandball tournaments.
Look after yourself whilst gazing out at the vast Atlantic with our fitness, warm-up or yoga sessions, lulled by the sound of the waves.
Experience the thrill of riding the waves by booking a surfing lesson with our partner schools or trying out your best tricks on the curves of our iconic skatepark.

Magical Sunset Outdoor venues 7.00 pm – midnight

When the sky turns pink and gold, a sense of tranquillity settles in and Monta comes to life in a whole new way. Our summer programme switches to night-time mode to get you in the mood! With music, local flavours and smiles, it’s the perfect way to round off your day.

YOUR MUST-SEE EVENTS:

Everyevening this summer: Enjoya 100% free concert. Rock, pop, jazz or DJ sets… There’s something for everyone!
Tuesdays are ‘Kids’ Special’: A whole day dedicated to the little ones, with street performances, creative workshops and fun activities just for them.
On Friday evenings, it’s time for the Marchés Gourmands: the place to be for food lovers! We gather round large tables to savour the best of the Médoc region’s local produce in a wonderfully festive and musical atmosphere in Vendays
