What are the opening hours of the famous Montalivet market?

It’s the unmissable morning destination ! From 1 July to 31 August , the market hall and the open-air market are open every day from 8.00 am to 1.30 pm (and until 2.00 pm at weekends). Perfect for sampling local oysters or stocking up on fresh produce after your morning surf session.

Where and when is swimming supervised?

In Monta, you can enjoy the sea in complete safety! Lifeguards (MNS) are on duty from April to October . During the peak season (from late June to late August), swimming is supervised from 11.00 to 19.00 in our designated areas (Central, North and South beaches). Remember: always swim between the red and yellow flags !

Where can you park in Montalivet (and how much does it cost)?

We’ve got some brilliant news for your holiday: parking here is 100 per cent free! You’ll find large car parks just a stone’s throw from the sea, the forest and the shops. In summer, Avenue de l’Océan becomes a pedestrianised street where you can stroll in complete safety, so leave the car behind and get your bikes out !

What is Monta Sports, and how does it work?

It’s our secret to staying in shape under the pine trees! Monta Sports offers a wide range of activities (Zumba, beach volleyball, Pilates, fitness, padel, etc.) led by a fantastic team. It’s 100% free, open to everyone and no registration is required. Come along to the Monta Sports hut on North Beach – we’ll even provide the equipment!
