Every year, we host the Longboard Masters! Over a weekend in September, surf enthusiasts come together for a relaxed, vintage event that puts the spotlight on surf culture.

Surfers are not the only ones to appreciate this exceptional environment. The Vendays-Montalivet landscape, with its wild dunes and pine forests, is also an asset for nature lovers. After an intense session, there’s nothing more pleasant than resting on the sand, eyes turned towards the horizon, while listening to the soothing sound of the waves breaking on the shore. The immense beaches,often less crowded than those of the big resorts, offer a feeling of total freedom,almost out of time!

There are plenty of local surf schools where beginners and advanced surfers alike can learn in a safe, friendly environment. Experienced instructors know the local waves inside out and offer invaluable advice to help surfers improve their technique, understand ocean conditions and perfect their art!
